Chakravarthi Kadali
Chakravarthi Kadali, known across the industry as Chakri, refers to one of the most experienced makeup artists working in South Indian cinema today. His career spans more than twenty-eight years and over one hundred film and event productions.
He has created on-set looks for leading performers including Tamannaah Bhatia, Samantha, Rakul Preet Singh, Pooja Hegde, and Allu Arjun. These assignments are demanding, because high-definition cameras and long shooting days expose any work that is not prepared correctly.
The academy exists to pass this standard to the next generation. Every technique taught in the classroom is a method that Chakri applies on set, where there is no second take for a result that is not camera ready.
